We are actively hiring! Postdoctoral fellow, medical/visiting scholar, graduate student, and co-op student positions are available. Our team strives to create a collaborative, supportive, and stimulating environment for multi-disciplinary cancer research.

 

Postdoctoral Fellows and Medical/Visiting Scholars

Talented and motivated postdoctoral fellows and visiting scholars from diverse backgrounds, including genomics, cancer biology, computational biology, and high-throughput technology development, are encouraged to contact Dr. Han. Applicants should hold a PhD or MD/PhD degree. Please include a statement of research interests, a CV, 1-3 papers representative of your research work, and the contact information for 3 academic references familiar with your work.

1-2 positions are available in our lab in 2024.

Graduate Students

Prospective MSc, PhD, and MD/PhD students should contact Dr. Han with a statement of research interests, a CV, an undergraduate transcript, and the contact information for three references. Previous lab experience is required. Students taking upper-year science courses in disciplines such as genetics, molecular and cell biology, cancer, biochemistry, and bioinformatics will be given strong preference. Please also consult the Graduate Program in Biochemistry website for entrance requirements.

Two funded graduate student positions are available in our lab in September 2024.

 

Co-op and Undergraduate Students

One co-op student position (bioinformatics focus, 8-month term) is available in our lab in January or May 2024.

Undergraduate students are recruited on an ongoing basis. Students with strong grades in laboratory courses and science courses in the disciplines of bioinformatics, genetics, molecular and cell biology, cancer, and biochemistry are encouraged to inquire about available research positions in the lab.
